Art in Lake Wales: what to see, and how to buy it

Lake Wales has a working arts center in a 1927 former church, a set of downtown murals coordinated by the city's Murals and Enhancement Board, and Bok Tower Gardens, which stages seasonal outdoor exhibitions. This page separates two kinds of trip: going to see art, and buying it.

Florida Slice does not sell artwork, and no gallery or artist has an agreement with us. The most direct routes today are the Lake Wales Arts Council's member exhibitions and annual art show, and the shop at Bok Tower Gardens. When buying, ask whether a piece is an original, a limited-edition print, an open-edition reproduction or a photograph. They are priced very differently.

For Bok Tower paintings and prints specifically, see the Bok Tower art collection.
